Try Reading for Beads
Students earn a bead for each book that they read. Keep track of all the books read on the reading log. For more accountability have them read to a partner, reading buddy from another grade, record themselves reading, or have a reading response journal.
Organize beads in plastic containers.
Beads can easily be kept on a pipe cleaner with the students name on them. When the pipe cleaner is full, they can make it into a bracelet or key chain!
